For his new book, The Humor Code, professor Peter McGraw searched the United States for the funniest city. His Humor Algorithm (HA, for short) used data points like comedy clubs per square mile, and number of famous funny tweeters divided by population. Chicago, Boston, and Atlanta topped the laugh chart.
